Ol MALO HOUSE PDF Print

Location: Situated on an escarpment overlooking the 3000 acre sanctuary belonging to the Francombe family.  It has spectacular views, wildlife, and wonderful birdlife and Mt Kenya looming in the background. The Ewaso Nyiro River runs down its eastern boundary.

Description:  Ol Malo House is an extremely attractive house which is exclusive to one group.  The entire Francombe family had a hand in its unique design, using natural materials such as olive wood and rock.   Much of the decor is designed around the Samburu colours and the lampshades are all beaded from the Ol Malo workshop as are some of the beautiful mirrors in the house.  This house is ideal for a large group or a family holiday.

Accommodation/Facilities:  Ol Malo House can accommodate up to 16 people on an exclusive basis. There are a total of 6 double rooms, one single - all en-suite and a loft area for children. A large living room with comfortable furnishings and an open fireplace is a wonderful place to relax in the evenings, before dinner in front of a roaring fire.  Daytime revolves around the pool area with lunch served overlooking the infinity pool. A large BBQ area near the pool is a great place to eat under a starlit sky or a full moon.
