Sangare Conservancy
Sangare Conservancy is a 4,250 acre private conservancy located in Nyeri County, Kenya. The conservancy is managed by the Sangare Conservancy Management Company and features a variety of habitats, including open plains, riverine forest, and bushland. The conservancy is home to a diverse array of flora, birds, and animals, including leopard, buffalo, lion, and a small number of resident elephants.
Visitors to Sangare Conservancy can participate in activities such as wildlife viewing, walking, horse riding, trout fishing, and game drives. The conservancy is located just 3 hours from Nairobi and 1 hour from Nanyuki, making it a convenient day trip destination. The conservancy also has a campsite with tent sites, showers, toilets, and a helper who can assist with fires and guided walks. Guests are responsible for bringing their own camping equipment and supplies, such as lighting, drinking water, and toiletries.
