Moran Lounge and Grill is a well-known nightlife destination in Nanyuki, Kenya, and a member of the Laikipia Tourism Association (LTA). In addition to providing entertainment, Moran is also dedicated to giving back to the community through various charitable initiatives.
Recently, the lounge took its charitable efforts a step further by visiting Nanyuki Prisons to donate foodstuffs and spread some holiday cheer to the inmates. This act of kindness is just one example of Moran’s commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
In addition to providing food donations, Moran is also partnering with Youth Safety Awareness Initiative to offer psychoeducation sessions in prisons to promote mental wellness among inmates. Being imprisoned can have a significant impact on one’s mental health, and these sessions will provide important information and support to help inmates maintain their mental wellbeing.
Some of Moran’s other charitable initiatives include the Lisha Project, which addresses hunger and malnutrition in primary schools, and the Likii feeding program, which provides meals to children every Friday. The lounge also holds the Moran Mugithi event every three months, which provides meals to elderly and vulnerable people in Nanyuki.
If you are interested in partnering with Moran and supporting their charitable initiatives, you can get in touch with Robert Kabata through email at rkabattah@gmail.com or by phone at +254 (0) 721 216 583. Through the support of individuals and organizations like these, Moran is able to make an even greater impact on the Laikipia community.
