The rerouting of power lines around wildlife habitats is indeed a great step towards safeguarding our wildlife species. The recent global outcry by environmentalists on the increasing electrocutions of birds and wildlife is bearing fruits in Kenya.
In response to the outcry The Kenya Power and lightning Company has begun an initiative of re-configuring and rerouting its power lines in the most affected areas so far.
