After 17 years of dedicated service as the Laikipia Wildlife Forum Board Chair, Rt. Major-General Peter Waweru, is leaving the Forum’s chair position. Major-General Waweru showed true consistency and constancy in his dedication to see the Forum prosper as a Natural Resource conservation hub of choice.
His final remarks before stepping down from his position clearly depicted a man who holds Laikipia Wildlife Forum at heart. The Rt. General acknowledged all the partnerships that have enabled LWF to flourish all these years. He also appreciated the value of working as a team and urged the members and partners of the Forum to embrace the new model of operations that sees the Forum become an enabler and a facilitator rather than an implementer.
“I remain around, and a member of the Forum. I believe in its principles and am dedicated to the long-term conservation of this landscape”.
We are humbled by his dedication, and grateful for his years of service and dedication.
