ILMAMUSI is organizing a “Walk Wild” event involving at least 500 people comprising of men, youth and women to create awareness and solicit for local support for landscape restoration and tourism in Mukogodo ecosystem.
Working with the Forum and other partners, ILMAMUSI will organize an event to raise awareness on forest conservation and the restoration activities currently being implemented in the Mukogodo ecosystem.
The Walk will also highlight the many activities that the Forest and CFA can support for tourists.
The event will also act as a marketing event that will help raise funds that will support in the Forest Landscape Restoration works within the Mukogodo Ecosystem. Other partners include FAO, KWS, KFS, Borana, LWC, and County Government of Laikipia, African Nature Investors (ANI), Laikipia Conservancies Association (LCA), NRT, community lands, and others.
The event is scheduled for October/November 2022 with the date to be communicated at the end of July. Stay tuned for updates.
