We take this opportunity to congratulate Kenya Wildlife Conservancies Association for emerging as the best Conservation Supporter at this years African Conservation Awards ceremony held in Kasane, Botswana. The Awards were established to promote conservation and to recognize the efforts made by countries in safeguarding natural heritage by empowering rangers in conservancies.
Simba Community Wildlife Scouts from Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust in Amboseli won the award for best Conservation Team category. We also aknowledge our partners in conservation in Laikipia County, Mt Kenya Trust , who were the first runner-up in the best conservation team category.
Through partnerships and embracing a collabrative approach to conservation, Kenya has shown its great potential in restoring and protecting mother nature and this recognitions from the African conservation awards is true tstimony to this.
